Description (Healing Blade Lore)

Ticarcillin is a descendent of the great Penicillin, and is almost always found in battle with the great Beta Lactam protector, Clavulanate. Ticarcillin prevents the proper linking of the Lords’ armor, causing them to literally fall apart as they try to reproduce. Clavulanate, meanwhile, protects Ticarcillin precious Beta Lactam weaponry from being destroyed by the toxins released by many Lord species. Together, the Apothecary duo is effective against a wide range of Pestilence armies, primarily those of the Gram Negative Legion that invade the Respiro Forest, including the dreaded Pseudomonas clans. They are often compared to their cousins, the Piperacillin/Tazobactam team, and the Apothecary strategists are often torn about which duo to send into battle in a time of need.

Ticarcillin and Clavulanate enter Soma directly into the streams and rivers or in the countryside, as they are unsuccessful at reaching the site of battle when they enter through Buccal Bay. Nevertheless, they are known to disrupt the aqueduct’s flow, just like many of their Apothecary brethren. They can also cause pain and disruption to Sententia and may irritate the communities surrounding the region where they entered Soma’s atmosphere.

Despite these drawbacks, Ticarcillin and Clavulanate are a powerful team of the Apothecary Army. And with the growing number of Lords capable of evading the Apothecary counterattacks, Soma needs all the help it can get.
