Outreach Coordinator (Part-Time) at Nerdcore Medical

Job Description

Nerdcore Medical is seeking a part-time Outreach Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is not only passionate about medicine but also has interests in games, biology, public health, research, sales, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities

  1. Direct to Consumer Social Media Marketing:
    1. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.
    2. Generate engaging content for our social media platforms.
    3. Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
    4. Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
    5. Review analytics to measure the success of social media campaigns.
  2. Outreach and Demand Generation:
    1. Conduct outreach to potential clients through cold-calling and emails.
    2. Identify and target new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations.
    3. Follow up on leads generated from canvassing efforts.
    4. Track all communications in our CRM.
  3. CRM Management:
    1. Populate and maintain our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track outreach efforts and results.
    2. Ensure all customer information is correct, including contact details and sales progress.
    3. Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics.
  4. Booking Business Development Opportunities:
    1. Schedule meetings and opportunities for the leadership team to help execute sales.
    2. Coordinate with the leadership team to ensure they have all necessary information.
    3. Follow up on meetings and capture any next steps or follow-ups required.z

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent. Exceptions may be made for highly motivated and qualified candidates with references.
  • Located in the Greater Seattle/Tacoma area.
  • Experience in social media marketing and content generation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Creative thinker with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Responsible and diligent with a strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Considerations

  • Pay is $17/hour with incentive pay for meeting certain performance outcomes. Some fixed outcomes – ie development creative assets – may be compensated separately on a production basis.
  • Hours will flex with a range from 5-15 hours/week, depending on organizational needs.
  • This position is remote with occasional in-person meetings with prospective customers and Nerdcore Medical leadership. 
  • This position is a four-month, contract-only position with the option for Nerdcore to renew at its discretion. It does not carry any benefits.
