Description (Healing Blade Lore)

Piperacillin and Tazobactam are a powerful duo. Together, they are effective against all but the most resistant Pestilence armies, such as MRSA and VRE. While Piperacillin on her own is an effective killer of a wide range of Pestilence species, she is susceptible to the poisons released by many agents to counter her attacks. Tazobactam neutralizes those poisons, allowing Piperacillin to push forward and successfully defeat even those Lords normally resistant to Beta Lactam Apothecaries.

Piperacillin and Tazobactam penetrate the boundary wall and make their way directly to the river system. They stay until they get the job done, making sure that no Lords escape alive and start to accumulate the secrets to defeating the Apothecary duo. A few legions of Pestilence armies has evolved resistance to Piperacillin and Tazobactam, however—most notably C. difficile. These Lords can survive the duo’s attacks, causing severe unrest in the aqueduct and threatening dehydration throughout the land.

Furthermore, Piperacillin and Tazobactam have been known to inflict their own harm around Soma. When they blast through the boundary wall in search of waterways, they can cause pain and unrest in the surrounding towns. And once fully engaged in battle, they can disrupt the flow of the aqueduct or even cause a bit of miscommunication and confusion among the workers of Sententia. As a result, they are often reserved for invasions serious enough to warrant the risk.
